Two days All Sindh Disabled Youth Seminar

In pursuance of previous seminars/workshops respectively in Nawabshah, Larkana and Khairpur, a two days all Sindh seminar for disabled youth were organized by the Pakistan Disabled Foundation with a support of Ministry of youth affairs Sindh on 22 and 23 February 2016 at Jacobabad in Hotel Almairaj.

The disabled youth both male and female along with their organizational leaders actively attended the seminar. A part from inaugural and concluding ceremony which was graced by the local authorities as the honor guests including DC Jacobabad, SSP Jacobabad, district social welfare officer Jacobabad, President, press club Jacobabad and principle of government services centre for the blind, 5 business sessions were held. All together 60 disabled youth and there guides were present in the seminar. Among others Dr. Ameer Abro Sindh University Jamshoro, Dr. Shahab siddiqui dean faculty of Science Jinnah University for Women, Dr. Humera Aziz University Of Karachi, Mr. Manzoor Mastavi retire director Special Education, Dr. Saira Saleem from University Of Karachi, Ms. Shahla yousuf . in addition to that the representatives of leading organizations of the disabled themselves like sayien Abdullah Rajhper Nawabshah, Mr. Saleem Qasim olia Karachi, Mr. Riaz Memon Larkana, Mr. Agha Muneer Pathan Sheekarpur, Hafiz Naseer from Ghotki, Mr. Shahnawaz from Sakhar, Mr. Ali Gul Abro from Khairpur, Mr. Shaban Manju Jakababad, Mr. Ibrahim Mangi Jakababad, Mr. Ghulam Muhammad Sarki from thul, azghar murry from Mirpur khas, ghulam nabi ujjan from Noshero Ferooz, Madam Farida Shaikh from Larkana and of course Madam Shakila Yasmin from Pakistan Disabled Foundation also grace the occasion. The PDF chairman Shahid Ahmed Memon served as the resource person of the seminar while Madam Shakila performed her role as the facilitator and coordinator of the seminar.

The active involvement and expression by the disabled youth particularly from interior of Sindh, enthusiastic participation and role of local participants, punctuality of the participants, extra ordinary presence of media representatives and impressive coverage along with satisfaction, happiness and gratitude of almost all the participants, can be considered as the highlights of the seminar.
