To grace the occasion of Seerat Un Nabi and International Day of Disabled Persons, on one hand a national competition of essay writing on Seerat Unnabi was organized by the Foundation on the following topic:”The success of main kind is to achieve the willingness of the al-mighty Allah (Raza-e-Illahi) while willingness of Al-mighty require the followance of prophet P.B.U.H (Itebay-e-Rasool), another competition was also organize to grace the occasion of Allama Iqbal. The topic of the said competition was the individuality of state, nation, and ummat require the revival of Dr. Iqbal’s thought. The winners of the competitions will received the prizes of Rs. 600,000/-cash together with certificates.
On the other a comprehensive program was held on 5th December in the auditorium of civic centre which was largely participated by the disabled persons, educators, social workers, and members of the civil society. Mulana Hifzur Rehman was the main speaker who has given key note address on the practical aspect of Seerat Unabi SAWW.
Dr. Wasay Shakir the imminent neuro surgeon and social worker graced the occasion as the chief guest and presented thought provoking presentation highly appreciated by the participants. A panel discussion moderate by Azra Bagam an educationalist and social worker was also held on the topic of “fulfillments of requirements of the UN Convention on Rights for PWD’s and responsibility of the disabled themselves”. The open quiz on the practical aspects o the Prophet’s PBUH life carried out through out the program while famous Naat Khawn inspired the audience very highly. At the end the participants were entertained by juices and dinner.
