ALHAMDULILLAH a threefold National Seminar held on 3rd September 2020 at Islamabad Hotel under Pakistan Disabled Foundation (PDF) on following topics:

1. Importance of information technology and need of Urdu Talking Software (to be developed immediately) for visually impaired.
2. The need of revision of the curriculum for the education and training of special educators in the Department of Special Education in different University of the country.
3. Protection of employment quota and basic rights (being hammered time)

The Federal Secretary Mr. Shoaib Siddiqui grace the seminar as the Chief Guest while Dr. Tahir Najeeb Director Planning & Development COMSATS University grace the Inaugural Ceremony as the Chief Guest. The PDF Chair presided over the Inaugural Ceremony.

The first business session on importance of IT and need of Urdu Talking Software was graced by CEO Ignite Mr. Junaid Imam. The imminent scholar on the subject Dr. Akbar Gardezi presided over the session while Prof. Shakira Yasmin, chief of the technology cell of PDF, served the session as the co-chair. Mr. Kamal Yusuf from Peshawar, Mr. Salman Khalid from Lahore, Mr. Farhan Ahmed from Sialkot were the subject specialist and speakers of the session.

The second business session on Special Education was graced by the Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Vice Chancellor of National Skills University Islamabad while Chairman PDF Mr. Shahid Ahmed Presided over the Session and Dr. Shagufta Iqbal from Quetta serve the session as the co-chair. Dr. Shagufta Shahzadi Ex-Dean of the Education and Head of Department of Special Education University of Karachi and Dr. Abdul Hameed imminent special educator & former Chairman of Department of Special Education Punjab University and Ex-Dean of Arts and Social Sciences UMT Lahore make presentation while Madam Salma Khatoon well known educator in the field  of disability and Principal of the Govt. Institute Attock Punjab and Director Student Affairs Mr. Rana Tariq Jawed from Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad presented their papers.

The third business session on protection of employment quota and basic right of disabled persons was presided over by Prof. Ilyas Ayub Head of the Azad Kashmir Association of the Blind Centre while Qari Saad Noor of PAB National Peshawar, Mr. Abdul Mannan Ex-Director of Special Education Govt. of Pakistan from Islamabad, Sardar Ayaz Head of the Light House School for the Blind Abbottabad and Mr. Nabil Sati of Voice of Special Persons from Rawalpindi were the speakers of the session.

The seminar together with all the session well concluded as per schedule at the thanks and high tea. During the seminar the dignified guest were awarded souvenirs gifts from PDF while the participating important individuals and deserving institutions were awarded prizes and donation of white canes, wheel chairs and braille writing slates.
