Al-Hamdolillah, by taking care of policy of the Pakistan Disabled Foundation (PDF) and guide lines of the Board members to observe the silver jubilee of PDF, first of all on one hand PDF Management decided to acknowledge all the blessings of Almighty Allah to PDF as a whole during the last quarter century by providing possible but meaningful support to the allied of PDF individually and collectively on other reviewing the policy, programs, projects and dealings of PDF to make a maximum possible improvement in every sector of role and practice. Al-Hamdolillah from the very beginning of the observance i.e. 3rd December 2022 The International Day of Disabled Persons during the National Seminar at Karachi Press Club. Number of dignitaries including the Chief Guest Minister of Special Education Sindh Mr. Sadiq Memon, Mr. Ajmal Awan from Ministry of Information Technology Islamabad, Mr. Naveed representative from State Bank of Pakistan, President Rotary Club Ms. Shazia Were awarded silver jubilee shield of PDF with determination “to cooperate an promote all the good deeds and virtues and condemned all the negative based approaches and activities” along with that apart from other acknowledgement as per silver jubilee policy two brilliant disabled female from Karachi and Quetta were provided laptops from as the basic need of their daily life educational and other wise routine under special support. The organization from the interior of Sindh were provided winter clothing, ration and also silver jubilee financial support.
As the matter of gratitude and appreciation to Almighty Allah for all his kindness due to which in spite of difficulties and obstacle PDF successfully developed multidimensional country wide relationship with all the leading department as obvious from website of PDF www.pdf.org.pk, more than forty institutions and organizations from Baluchistan, Sindh, KPK, Punjab and Kashmir were provided silver Jubilee financial support from 25 thousand to one hundred thousand rupees other than valuable equipments, office apparatus, furniture and other wise including Perkins Brailler, computer, photo Copier, Printer, Water Dispenser, UPS and Braille equipments. A part from that Department of Special Education University of Karachi were provided set of Books on special education from USA. In addition to that with special reference to silver jubilee celebration the following programs were arranged.

An integrated based Mina Bazar for both disabled and normal women was held in the month of March with special reference of
International Women Day. Silver Jubilee shield to all the guest of Honor including Vice Chancellor Dr. Shahida Sajjad from Metropolitun University, Dr. Humaira Aziz form Karachi University and lady SHO Madam Irum Arshad from Liaquatabad Women police Station.
A part from regular program and support with reference to Ramadan ul Mubarak and onward the seasonal fruit and food items were provided to the deserving disabled families as the silver jubilee support

with simultaneous provision of ink print and braille from Boltay Haroof was
Host in PDF Quaid-e-Azam Academy as silver jubilee observance.
Two Days IT based independent living course conducted by a blind
instructor was also part of the Silver Jubilee observance.
The notable event i.e. Three Days National Conference on Silver Jubilee in Islamabad was one of the most impressive celebration of silver jubilee attended by high profile Academic personalities likewise Chancellors, Government Dignitaries, Educationist, and large number of highly qualified disabled representatives from all over the country including Gilgit and Azad Kashmir. All of them were awarded silver jubilee shield together with other appreciative items. The Chief of the Madrasa ton Noor of South Africa was awarded silver jubilee medal with special certificate of Honor and Acknowledgment. Two Disabled female as special guests from Karachi and Islamabad and one blind male from Faisalabad were awarded Silver Medal on their achievement and work. (Late) Mr. Khalid Hussain Bhatti from Islamabad and Mr. Allah Dino Dehraj from Naushahro Feroze were also awarded special shield on their long lasting work for disabled community. Among other the Sarina Hotel, National Skills University and Comsats University Islamabad as the conference venue were awarded Silver Jubilee special gift for a collective indication.
An enormous celebration of Silver Jubilee on Independence Day of Pakistan, a number of dignitaries, supporters, and focal persons including first International Cricket Empire from Pakistan Mr. Mehboob Shah, Dr. Mudassir famous orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Abid well known Educationist were awarded Silver Jubilee gifts. The most active and supportive spokesman of PDF in age of 93 Mr. Abdur Razzaq Siddiqui was awarded by high profile gold medal for his longstanding practical and meaningful support.
Apart from other occasion especially patronization of High profile Academic dignitaries like vice chancellors Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, Dr. Ahsan from Hari pur University, Dr Mansoor Akbar Kundi from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, Lt.Gen. Dr. Asif Mumtaz Skhera HI(M) Ret. Vice Chancellor Mohi-ud- Din Islamic University. Mirpur Azad Kashmir, to one of the most important event of Silver Jubilee i.e. National Conference of PDF at Islamabad from 5th to 7th July, 2023 at the venue of National Skills University, Comsats University and Hotel Serena Islamabad all complementary. The said complement was accordingly acknowledged by PDF to above said venues with memorial Silver Jubilee awards.
Another important event organized by PDF to grace the silver jubilee together with observance of Seerat-Un-Nabi at Sir Syed University on 5th October graced by the Vice Chancellor Dr. Vali Uddin and Registrar Air Commodore Sarfaraz Ali as the Chief Guest respectively in Inaugural and Concluding Ceremonies who also grace the distribution Ceremony with awards, white canes and winter clothing amongst the participants from different part of Sindh and Baluchistan. The University was awarded silver jubilee memorial award together with silver Jubilee shield.
The sixth National Convention of Disabled Women at university of Lahore from 10 to 12 October 2023 has been proved as one of the land mark because of the energetic, knowledgeable and graceful participation of the disabled women especially remote part of the country and interior of the Punjab. Al-Hamdolillah said event was also grace by the rector of the University at Inaugural Ceremony while nominative representative of Pakistan Railway Madam Saima Erum Director public Relation, Lahore Railways graced both inaugural and concluding ceremony. The active participation and knowledgeable inspiration from Mr Irfan Gonadal representative of Director General Social Welfare/ Baitul –ul- maal, Punjab. Dr Shagufta was declared as “Women of the Conference”. She humbly and energetically organized all the events and helped all the participants in all the ways possible.
It is also notable that the renovation work of the building used by PDF as head quarter of PDF was carried out during the silver jubilee year on one hand on the other the efforts of the PDF board successfully concluded by receiving from charity commission registration and certificate also during the silver jubilee year. It is also notable that after a gape of considerable time the renewal of the building also taken place during the current year i.e. silver jubilee year.
ALHUMDULLILAH, after a gap of few years to grace the Silver of PDF, Management of PDF succeeded to sponsor foreign training on repairing of Perkin Brailler to tackle with the urgent need of repairing a large number of Perkin Brailler of GO’s and NGO ‘s in the country need repairing lying uselessly need to make them useable. Subsequently to follow-up the foreign training a week national course was arranged in the third week of November at PDF Quaid-e-Azam Academy Karachi participated by the nominated trainees from Go’s and NGO’s the course was arranged in November to paid review to Dr. Allama Iqbal.
A four days primary course was also arrange on use of Duxbury the Braille software and Braille Embosser conducted by foreign trained expert in the field, This is also to grace the Silver Jubilee of PDF.
It deems notable that the fresh election of Pakistan Disabled Foundation board has also taken place during the silver jubilee year that is November 2023.
The International Day Of The Disabled Person prior to that the final event of Silver Jubilee that is Three days national Youth Seminar, A special Meeting to express thanks to Almighty Allah for all the blessings throughout the year specially on Silver jubilee observance together with the cordial and otherwise support of our well-wishers, focal persons, volunteers, honorable guest, recipient of the awards and support and of course patronization of highly dignified personalities like vice chancellors on different occasion throughout the year right from Karachi to Islamabad make the Silver Jubilee observance a really inspiring occasion towards the motivation and public education of disabled community and all the others involve in celebrations thanks to Almighty Allah and of them together with staff and supporters.
The printing of new book on special education and Urdu braille together with this bulletin “The Silver Jubilee Bulletin are also part of the observance of Silver Jubilee.
