ALHAMDULILLAH irrespective of alarming difficulties because of sudden expiry of Iqbal Marfani the grate, who was the main donor and financial mobilizer of Ramazan Package under Pakistan Disabled Foundation (PDF), the Management of PDF by the special grace of Almighty Allah and active support of the well-wishers, not only manage to start the program as per schedule i.e. 2nd week of Shabaan but successfully and smoothly completed the major part of the relief work prior to the start of Ramazan. The remaining work was completed in the first decade of Ramazan Al-Hamdolillah by covering 32 cities including Azad Kashmir other than individuals from Karachi and other parts of the country. The Ramazan package was comprising of Eid and Ramazan ration and clothing. Approximately one thousand families were supported by the said package.
The management is really thankful to Almighty Allah, to the donors especially who realize the importance of support prior to Ramazan to give relief from panic situation of receiving/collecting package during the month of Ramazan. We are also thankful to the focal persons and organizational representatives in different parts of the country. We have special tribute to render their services by companying during the travelling and distribution of ration. We are also thankful to the hard working staff especially on the occasion of Ramzan relief program at the PDF Quaid-e-As am Academy of Disabled Persons Karachi to make all the necessary arrangements, coordination, facilitation and transportation arrangement. Without the alert support of the staff and convener of the program it was seemed extremely difficult at the starting.
